You need to say some good luck words during Chinese New Year. If you say "die, sick, lose" and people will say "Touch Wood".

食嘅嘢都係要講究㗎. 所以家家都要食魚, 蓮子, 蓮藕, 髮菜, 呢啲聽起嚟好意頭嘅食物.

Inside the home, you need to put a tangarine plant, and stick a red paper which says "lots of luck". Outside the home, you need to stick a pair of red paper which says "May you be safe wherever you go, flower open and you'll get rich, as healthy as a dragon and horse, old stuff go and new stuff come".

所以過年呢個節日, 雖然喺唐人嘅生日, 但又好似過聖誕節噉. 屋企, 街道都係咁熱鬧嘅. 世界各地啲唐人都係噉慶祝呀.
