EDIT: I deleted the link from facebook because someone said they couldn’t understand 1 word I said What a blow to my confidence!

I think you’re doing really, really well - much improved from one of your older videos!
Your vocab reflects a good grasp of quite local/everyday/normal use of the Cantonese language (better than mine!) and the pace at which you speak is not too slow.
Keep up the practice by always speaking Cantonese whenever you’re out and about, really the best way to maintain or continue to improve!

I think your cantonese is quite good! I could understand you for most of it. Your cantonese accent is pretty accurate too, so not sure what that that person on facebook is talking about.

We all have our off days. Sometimes people can’t understand a thing I’m saying and I can TELL that I’m saying it wrong, but I just can’t convince my mouth to say it correctly!

Excellent. You should put it back up on fb. Obviously the person that didn’t understand you is not a Cantonese speaker.

Your Cantonese is quite good … better than mine AND I understand most of what you’re saying. I’m a Canadian Born Chinese. Keep it up!

Your cantonese is definitely understandable, there are words that may be pronounced in the incorrect tone, but if someone can understand what you are trying to convey… the battles already half won :]
As an ABC, I can understand the frustration of not being able to grasp the cantonese word as the English word pops out in the foreground much more. Growing up watching wayy too much TVBJ definitely helps with maintaining the language and learning new words (that’s mainly how i keep up back in the days).
