Mini Podcasts
Posted by 馬先生 under MP3 - Monologues
I thought it would be quite beneficial to start uploading mini-podcasts for additional audio stimulus for my blog visitors. Though, I doubt I’ll ever make a Cantonese Chinesepod.com in the near future, I do believe these dialogues would be useful for some people. My wife made the recordings and I sourced the content from Wai Ming’s blog. I’d like to know if people think its worth uploading dialogues on a regular basis, I really don’t know if there is demand for audio dialogues.

Mr. Ma: I’m learning Cantonese just like you. I visit your website every day to check to see if there is any new post. Your posts are always both insightful & inspirational. I just want you to keep up the good work, because I’m learning alongside with you. Charlie, from Columbus, Ohio.

This is great, there is so little Cantonese material around, so please keep it coming! Thanks to you and your wife for sharing.

Please, please keep this sort of things coming! I too am learning cantonese and have found a desperate lack of advanced beginner/intermediate listening material.

I am a Professor in the Cantonese language in the USA. Mr. Ma, You have done a great work and your wife is doing great too. My students enjoy listening to the podcast. She only have a few “lazy tones” which is already much better than a lot of Hong Kong actors and TV stars.
The transcription which is done by Jyutping (LSHK) is wonderful. You
are one of the very best one in doing this accurately.

Woo hoo! I understood the whole thing without a translation! Thanks for these. I finished “Teach Yourself Cantonese” and was looking for some new, transcribed audio sources.
