2jyū dou laih jauh sihk 煮到嚟就食 — [to eat things when they are cooked] to deal with things in due course, to accept whatever comes along, to "cross one's bridges when one comes to them".
3jyū faahn pō 煮飯婆 — [cook rice woman] a house-wife, a wife.
4jyū séi 煮死 — to catch, to "nail" (e.g. police officer catching a criminal).
