  3. 3 syuhn tauh chek 船頭尺 — [plumb line on a ship] someone who is always asking others for money (since the normal slang term is dohk séui 度水 which can mean "to borrow money" or "to measure water").
  4. 4 syuhn tauh fong/ geng gwai, syuhn meih fong/ geng chaahk 船頭驚/驚鬼, 船尾驚/驚賊 — [to fear a ghost at the bow and a robber at the stern] to be too cowardly to make a firm decision.
