2gwo 過 — to transfer (funds, territory, allegiance).
3gwo chaak 過冊 — to pass a register; barter in prison, prison black market (prison jargon).
4gwo chèung 過場 — to move from one location or place of work to another (e.g. a hostess or a mamasan changing nightclubs, dyj 6, 26), cf. chèung 場.
5gwo chòng 過倉 — to change cells in prison.
6gwo daaih hói 過大海 — to cross the big sea; to go to Macau from Hong Kong; to go gambling in Macau (hhssm, 0.50).
7gwo dái 過底 — to switch from one triad unit to another.
8gwo dái fai 過底費 — a fee paid for switching from one triad unit to another (ty 16.10.2001, A11).
9gwo dāk heui 過得去 — passable; to get along all right.
10gwo dong 過檔 — to change stall; to change jobs, to move company; to change allegiance; to change one's triad allegiance (ad 19.8.2000, A4).
11gwo dong 過檔 — an exclamation telling someone to go away, "get lost!".
12gwo dōu sāan 過刀山 — passing the mountain of knives; a stage in the triad initiation ceremony (traditional triad jargon, OS).
13gwo fó hàang 過火坑 — crossing the pit of fire; a stage in the triad initiation ceremony in which the recruit is symbolically purified by fire (traditional triad jargon, OS).
14gwo fó wái 過火位 — to go too far, to behave badly, to overstep the mark.
15gwo gāai louh syú 過街老鼠 — a rat running across the street; everybody shouts out "hit it!"; a public enemy, a hate figure.
